I qualified back in the days when veterinary nurses were known as RANA’s (registered animal nursing auxiliaries) then, as things moved on, we could then call ourselves VN’s (veterinary nurses) then ultimately RVN’s as is our title today.

I was among the first RVN’s to obtain the Diploma in advanced veterinary nursing(surgical) and more recently have had a keen interest in everything feline.

My career has been in small animal practice both in London and Berkshire. 

I have had the privilege to train and mentor many student veterinary nurses during my time in practice.

I began working at MYF Training in 2022 as an IQA and have found the role very rewarding. 

I have two cats which I hand reared as two-week-old kittens, three tortoises, all rescue cases, and a horse. When I have any other spare time, I enjoy reading and gardening.
