I qualified as an RVN in 2014 after many years of being in practice as an Animal Care Assistant and then progressing through my Nursing Diploma with the RCVS. After my graduation I decided to take a step back and moved into the Pet Insurance Sector.
After 5 years, I decided to put to good use all of my experience gained and came back to MYF, this time as a Lecturer.
I have a keen interest in medical nursing - there is nothing quite like getting that grumpy geriatric hyperthyroid cat to eat it’s dinner and let you stroke it.
No pets of my own currently but I’m sure that will change, I’m a sucker for a sob story.
I’m a keen weightlifter and will workout at the gym most days, that is if I’m not hanging upside down from an aerial hoop.
