I studied veterinary nursing at Onderstepoort, South Africa and qualified in 1997. I have worked within various small animal practices since then, both in South Africa and in the UK. My previous role was as a Head Nurse and clinical coach for a small group of veterinary practices. I am also a current examiner for the RCVS and VetSkill OSCE’s.

Outside of work, I spend some time supporting a small dog rescue in Reading and have completed a triathlon to raise much needed funds for them. At home, we have three adopted dogs Djenga, Bagel and Sam that keep us busy and on our toes.

I also enjoy a bit of wildlife photography when I get the chance.
