Rabbit anaesthesia is a complex, multi-factorial subject and should never be undertaken without adequate analgesia.
This talk will provide an overview of the holistic aspects of anaesthesia (pre, peri and post GA) including why and how husbandry has a direct effect on the ASA grade of your patient. It will also discuss top tips for making your rabbit anaesthetics smoother and safer along with delving into current airway management techniques and monitoring methods.
The importance of analgesia will be highlighted and tips given to ensure you are providing a good, multi modal pain relief treatment plan.
By the end of this talk, you should have a better understanding of how to implement rabbit anaesthetics in a way that is less scary for both you and your patient.
